This is how I got into Jason Mraz:
Well, well, well..... I have to admit when I first heard Remedy on the radio here in Chicago in March of 03 I wasn't very fond of it, maybe it was because it was receiving too much airplay. But then in April I was at a Counting Crows concert in Charleston IL...and my friend said she wanted to take me to see a singer named Jason Mraz in May at the House of Blues in Chicago. Needless to say I saw his video on VH1 that weekend but I still didnt think he was that great. One week before the concert I bought WFMRTC and I still wasnt all that enthused about him. But I went to the concert and the stories he told and his live show just blew me away. He seriously is one of the best live performers I have ever seen!! And since then I have been to 4 of his shows....the HOB show when I first saw him...and the song BETTER was the song that really swept me away!! And then the next time I was in his prescence was when I won tickets to the T-Mobile show at Navy Pier. Then I went to his DVD shoot at the Rave Eagles Ballroom...and the last one I went to was at NIU with Tristan Prettyman. I cannot wait til he comes back. But in the mean time I have been B&Ping like mad. And I cannot wait until the DVD comes out cause I havta check to see if I am in it. I was in the front row!! But I am afraid that I havent been able to meet the Mraz Man yet !! When we are at HOB we were standing in line for an autograph and since it was an ALL AGES SHOW they had a curfew so they kicked us all out at 11 pm !! I was bummed. Cause he was sooo awesome! I noticed through the shows that I have been 2 that his fans are getting younger and younger ! I am 23 years old and single and I have to say Mr. Mraz has helped me stay positive and happy this past year of knowing this talented musician!! I have had a rough year and he told me that night in May.....that "It Only Gets Better"!! I love him soo much!! And I am so happy that we have this wonderful thing called the internet that we can spread all the happiness and love we have for this talented musician !!!!
