Burn's Yearbook Entry (One found!)

Bernadette aka Burn
from Commack

I am a female with black hair and brown eyes.
My birthday is on November 10, 1988
which makes me a 35 year old Scorpio.

This is how I got into Jason Mraz:
I first heard of Jason Mraz when my sisters were listening to him on youtube in 2004. It was there that I heard him sing I'm your and The Remedy. Now, I'm not the type of person who listens to a song for the first time and remembers it instantly the next time he or she hears it. I'm notorious for forgetting. Heck, I sometimes don't even remember family vacations unless I see pictures.

Well, it was Halloween in 2005 and I was outside waiting for my younger sister to come home from school so that I can take her trick-or-treating (and occasionally steal some of her candy). As I was waiting for her, sitting alone on the porch as the night gradually grew darker, I started to hum I'm yours, and really feeling it - eyes closed - the whole package. I didn't even know the words but I just loved the tune - so much so that I actually remembered it. I didn't even remember who sang it - a promising sign of a potential fan for the voice behind the song.

And now, four years, 2 burned cds, countless Jason Mraz playlists on youtube and two new musical hobbies later, here I am, reflecting on how much he has impacted my life. I wish I could have impacted his life - oh wait, I already did and still am because I'm one of his fans and probably will be for life.

Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
One of my dreams is to be able to do what Jason does. And in that process, hopefully I could get his attention, personally. A simple glance would suffice. I just want to be able to smile, and have him smile back.

I hope for other fans, Jason has inspired you to do things you thought you would never do, or that you would never be interested in. If you're a big enough fan than I am, you'd know that he wants the world to try new things and especially be opened minded. So Jason, I'm stealing this advice from you to give it to other fans and other people in general. Sort of like Robin Hood - you know, how he steals from the rich and gives to the poor. Right now I am stealing from Jason - rich in his words, thoughts and destinations - and giving it to the poor - those who still need to open their eyes, look out the window and smile.
