This is how I got into Jason Mraz:
For months a friend of mine told me how great Jason's music is. I didn't pay much attention, but decided to go to his show at Canter's Deli anyway. The sound was pretty crummy. At first I couldn't tell if it was Jason or the sound system. I figured, "eh, friend has pretty good taste in music so it's probably not Jason." I had some extra cash in my pocket so I decided to buy a CD. Listened to it in the car and thought, "does he have a cold? His voice sounds really nasaly." Turns out he's much better live (when the sound system isn't shit).
I've been hooked ever since!
