This is how I got into Jason Mraz:
My son attended college in Virginia with Jason. In fact, Jason doesn't remember, but I was visiting my son at college when Jason decided the university route for his life was not for him and was packing his bags and heading to California....the rest is forthcoming history. He's a great kid (at my age I can call him a kid) and has been a great friend to my son, who had a difficult bout with cancer (and survived), for which I thank Jason for. He hasn't lost his sense of "where he came from".

Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
Anyone who hasn't had the chance to see Jason perform....GO!! I've only seen perform in an "informal" setting...like sitting outside on a hot summer night in Virginia and him pickin'and singin' impromtu songs for a gathering of his friends there and he was great in that setting!! I also got the chance to see him sing Karioki! He puts his heart and soul (with his own twist!) into that as much as his own music!
