This is how I got into Evanescence:
I heard their songs from Fallen on the radio but never really payed attention to them until The Open Door came out. My aunt bought both CDs and I borrowed them. I immediately fell in love with Amy's powerful voice and strong words. I can relate to each song even if it has a different meaning to me than it does to her.
Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
You guys on this site that actually believe in Evanescence are so great for sticking there, whether it was from the very beginning or any time after. Everybody should look at Evanescence from every angle if they don't like it at first, because then they might find something in them to enjoy that they never thought they would. And that makes Ev all the more sweeter.
