This is how I got into Evanescence:
I heard one of her songs on MTV and i immediately fell in love with the band. Amy Lee has a beautiful voice and actually inspired me to sing too.

Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
Umm.. nothing except that Evanescence rules and hooray for everyone else that agrees.
