This is how I got into Evanescence:
i get tired of pop music and how none of them are honest, according to their songs. i also get tired of every poptart's everyday gossip and their awfully girly music which i can snooze right by. but evanscence is special. the gothic music is not only ddark and truthful, it's sensitive to the mind and invigorating. their music and persona really inspires and i'm happy to be behind them 100%.

Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
Keep on listening to them! some people think goth music is painful and dreary and not at all positive, but evanscence gives a whole new meaning to this. it always wakes my mind and i'll never get bored of it. you guys are truly the ressurection to music.
