This is how I got into Evanescence:
My oldest sister was searching online for music and came across one of their songs, I listened and instantly became a fan. I went out and bought the cd just a few months later.
Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
Amy Lee has one of the most amazing voices any of us will ever here. So appreciate. Enough said.
