This is how I got into Evanescence:
I really started listening to Evanescence after, of all things, the death of my dog. i was filled with a lot of regret b/c i wasn't around for either of my dogs when they were put down.
Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
I have a physical disability. Many of Evanescence's songs speak to me about my disability.
