This is how I got into Evanescence:
one night i was drivin in my car goin to a friends house and i wasnt really paying attention to the song on the radio cause i never heard it before and i was also in a depressing mood that night. then out of nowhere one of the lines from this song which was 'Bring Me to Life' just shot out at me. the line was .. "save me from the nothing ive become.." thats exactly how i felt.i was in a bad relationship with my ex-bf and he ended up goin to jail. i felt that i failed to keep him out of trouble even though it wasnt my job to. but thats exactly how i felt cause i was with him for 4 yrs and experience alot of emotional abuse and just realized that i felt like nothing.that i have accomplished nothing. and i was screaming this inside cause i wantd someone to help me, to "SAVE ME."and since then i listen to all their songs over and over and every one has a meaning to me from experiences ive been thru.honeslty, my one true wish in the world is to meet amy one day.cause i feel like i know her so well now.just to meet her in person id prob cry my eyes out like i do at concerts.

Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
keep listenin to evanescence.dont just listen, think deeply about every lyric of each song and figure out what they mean to u.and if u can relate to any of their songs, the words will remind u that u arent the only one.
