This is how I got into Evanescence:
i heard Bring Me to Life, in daredevil and started doing research on the band which happened to be Evanescence. If Amy Lee would have been a Britney Spears kinda person, Ide probably boycott the band. But since its goth/rock i immediantly fell in love with the lyrics to all the other songs on their albums. The beat wasnt that bad either.
Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
I am so glad that i have finaly found a site devoted to the most awesomly morbid band in the world. Amy Lee is my heroine
