This is how I got into Evanescence:
Summer of 2003 I was at a camp n we were evaluating lyrics n i read the lyrics and was just moved n then i heard the song n the music and her voice...ahhhhh....its just so wonderful! I LIVE Evanescence. my friends are Evanescence haters...u know the type that think we're tryin to be punk n we're not. we just have a passion for GOOD music. my best friends into ska n the other is into hardcore rock and they try get me "to the good side" but just give me some EVANESCENCE!!!! ~Quail
Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
U rock for not letting the Ev haters stop u. We have just as much right to love our music as they do theirs. Don't let ANYONE take away the music u love, music is life.
