This is how I got into Evanescence:
My friend was talking about how she was going to paint her room, so she played 'Imaginary' and I really liked the song, so I got the CD, and I've been a major fan ever since.

Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
I'm so glad that I've found some people on the internet that can appreciate good music. A lot of people I've talked to think that Evanescence is a poseur band (which is idiotic), so I'm happy I've found somepeople that agree with me.
