This is how I got into Evanescence:
I heard "Bring Me to Life" on the radio and absolutely adored it (even before I had ever heard of Evanescence). Pretty soon, I found out about Ev and started saying that I loved one of their songs. Well, my brother got the Matrix game for GameCube, which has "Going Under" on it. So I told him he would have to play it for me every day so I could listen to the song!!! Then on Valentine's Day, my mom got me the Fallen CD. Within a week, I knew all the lyrics and were writing them everywhere. Coincidentally, she got me the Origin CD this Valentine's Day (after "hinted" that I wanted it BADLY)!!!
Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
Evanescence is an awesome band!!! Their songs are so much stronger and deeper than any other popular band out there!!! Trust me, the more songs you hear, the more you realize this!!! I encourage anyone seeking to find more Evanescence music to buy the Origin CD (which can be pricey), or any other Ev CD (which may be extremely rare). Trust me, any price you pay will be worth it.
