This is how I got into Evanescence:
I seen Their Music Video For "Bring Me To Life" for the first time in 2003 and I instantly fell in love with their beautiful Art. I just had to keep finding out about them and finding new music from Evanescence. Even if I Tried, which I won't, I Won't Stop Listening to Evanescence until The Day I Die...
Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
There is Something About Amy Lee's voice that is so beautiful and heavenly. I've never heard anything like it or the music, it's so unique, and original, and beautiful as well as blissful and melancholy all mixed together at once. it's genius! I think you all know what I mean. If anyone can't see this band for what it is, then you don't recognize extraordinary talent, and artistic expression when it's sitting right in front of you. I don't care what anybody says, this Band is the best thing To happen to Rock/Dark Rock EVER!!! no one can ever top this band!!!!! EVANESCENCE! - AMY LEE! FOREVER!!!!
