This is how I got into Evanescence:
I was actually watching a news program at school and a commercial with Evanescence's "Going Under" as background music came on. I later saw their cd in the store and bought it thay very day, the day of its debut. Since then, I have loved Evanescence and always will. Even if Ben did go write songs for Avril (*growls*), I will still love the band, mainly Amy. She influenced me in many ways, and she is a major reason why my band is starting up today!

Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
A lot of people say some of Evanescence's lyrics aren't appropriate. Personally, their music has inspired me to write songs for my band. Everyone I know loves the songs, and it's all thanks to Amy that I write them. She is my role model and I would give anything to meet her.
