This is how I got into Evanescence:
Woo! Evanescence, greatest band in the WORLD. I suppose my ex-bf got me into Evanescence about .. Two and half years ago? Maybe three? I knew about them long before they hit the charts, I have all their old albums .. They're awesome, I've been hooked on the operatic rock ever since!
