This is how I got into Evanescence:
My friend played her CD for me and I loved Amy's voice, the fascinating lyrics and the addictive melodies so much, I went out and bought my own CD! I am in the process of getting Origin as well, and when Evanescence comes to Chicago in roughly 3 weeks, I AM GOING!!!
Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
Evanescence rocks, doesn't it? Some of my friends are disturbed by it but I say "pffftt..." to them and walk away. WHEEE!
