This is how I got into Evanescence:
I heard their song "Bring me to life" and I fell in love with it. I say the video and thought that it was great. I started to listen more to their songs and I love them!
Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
Evanesence rocks!! And nobody can change that!
