This is how I got into Evanescence:
I was trapped in my car for a small road trip to Indianapolis and My Immortal came on the radio. The song just grabbed me and Amy's voice absolutely blew me away. I have a few select song that I use to self train my vocals. My Immortal is one of them now. After listeniing to some more tracks from Evanescence that fascination goes on.
