This is how I got into Evanescence:
my big sister Amanda is the biggest punk rock fan and i heard alot of Evanescence songs and i was like i luv thier songs. so I started memorizing them and know My Immortal is my all time fav. song in the WORLD!!!!
Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
you sould really start to like Evanescence becuase they are a gr8 band and the acually have meanings to there songs and thats wat is so gr8 about them
