This is how I got into Evanescence:
Friends of mine had told me how amazing Amy's voice was, especially since the band paired it with such lovely metal behind it. I listened nce, and was hooked.
Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
Although Fallen is an amazing album, if you ever get the chance to hear the music off of Origin, and their other works, do so, b/c it's even better! (especially Solitude and Anywhere)
