This is how I got into Evanescence:
Heard their songs on the radio and they just spoke to me. They seemed to represent me as a person. Many of the things they sing about I have went through or am going through. They are just an awesome band!
Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
I would really like to get in touch with some true Evanescence fans so do not hesitate to e-mail and say hi...all we have down here is a bunch of posuers!!!
