This is how I got into Evanescence:
I had just broken up with my crazy ex-boyfriend and his brother loaned me his Evanescence CD, immortal. It just felt right, the music made me feel alot better, like my insecurities were not as unfounded as I thought. After that, I became a hard-core fan. Besides, I play piano and the music is beautiful.
Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
Music is the border where heaven meets the earth, and it is a magical meeting.
