This is how I got into Evanescence:
I heard about them on MTV, im really into goth, punk, and hardcore rock. So i figured i would check them out, I loved them, so i bought thier CD.

Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
Evanescence is a great band, whether you're into pop, or not really into music at all, they are awsome and you should really check them out.
