This is how I got into Evanescence:
my cousin let me listen to some of her favorites, and then i listened to all the music she had, and i liked it. well, actually, i loved it.
Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
i was wondering if you like classical music too. and i also want to know, "My Immortal" the band version, or the regular version from "Fallen" or one of the other 2 versions? which one do you like better?
