This is how I got into Evanescence:
Some friends got me listening to it. I like some of the older stuff better but they always have a great sound.

Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
Music is always about soul. It's about giving emotion to your sound, and Evanescence is one of the very few modern bands that have mastered this. I saw them in concert in Nashville this year and it was the best concert i've ever been to. They have a sound that is truly unique and songs that can relate to everyone. It is such an awsome experience that at the end of the concert everyone just started hugging everyone. Even people we didn't know because of what we had just shared in. The sound the bring will hopefully be around for ages to come, and continue to inspire myself and those who I know. To all of those Evanescence fans and to the band itself, good luck and best of wishes.
