This is how I got into Evanescence:
I was going through a rought ime in my life a few years ago (mostly about and not being able to deal with the break-up) ... A friend Pamela had the CD and let me hear it, I was like, in my mind, that these lyrics fit me perfectly ... So I broke down to the sons My Immortal, Going Under, and most of all the songs Taking Over Me, Hello, and My Last Breath were surereal to me in the darkest points of mind ... Thanks to the bands albulm and the supprt of friends it kept me from doing the worst thing possible ... Thanks to Amy Lees' lyrics I am still here today ... but still single and afraid to make another commitment to another woman ...

Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
Take heed to some of the lyrics in Amys' songs ... Most specifically MY LAST BREATH ... some of them will actually help you out in the long run with minor problems in your life
