This is how I got into Evanescence:
I stumbled on to the video for My Immortal during a very difficult time in my life last fall, a time when my life seemed to be falling apart. The lyrics to the song seeped into my soul like the Balm of Gilead; the images, so surreal...
Ben Moody is so captivating, such a sweet countenance, beautiful to behold and yet there is a hint of a razor fine edge to his demeanor... something dark and mysterious... I would love to know it... sink my teeth into it, mmm... I could go on all night!
