This is how I got into Evanescence:
I am originally from Paragould, Arkansas. (Northeast of Little Rock) While I was visiting my Grandparents during the summer of 2000, I was turned on to Evanescences' music by a friend who had one of their first CD's. I think it was one of the demos the band passed out at the end of their shows. Anyway, I really didn't hear much about them after that until the Bring Me to Life video premiered on MTV. Of course I recognized Amy Lee's voice right away and went out and bought the Fallen album. I have been an Evanescence fan ever since.
