This is how I got into Evanescence:
I'm a student of an online school and one of my friends on it was really into Evanescence. She would always rave about how their music was truly art and how I should listen to some of their songs. Eventually, I took her advice and listened to Going Under on a website. I fell in love with their music from then on and....yeah....the rest is....now Evanescence is my favorite band

Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
hmm....their music is great? But then, you already knew that, didn't you. =)
