This is how I got into Evanescence:
My freshman year (2002) my friend had the CD with her. The name intrigued me and she told me to listen. The second I heard her voice - I was hooked. So i bought the CD and then a year later - everyone else in the world loved them and I was like - YEAH! Now the world can share the goddesslike voice and the godlike band.
Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
Definately buy the DVD - I thought it was hilarious, and AmyLee smashed kinda reminds me of myself smashed...hmmm....
