This is how I got into Evanescence:
i was watching the movie "DareDevil" and i was getting into the songs "My Immortal" and " Bring Me to Life". i thought that they were my kind of music so i bought one of their cds and i really liked it and decided that they are my favorite band.
Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
you don't know how much i really like them and how much i can totally sound like Amy Lee.
