This is how I got into The Push Stars:
I first saw the band in 1997 when they played at an outdoor street festival in Rosendale, NY though I only caught the last song of their set which was "Me". In 1999 a friend told me I HAD to go see this great band at the Joyous Lake in Woodstock, and half way through the set it dawned on me who they were- Chris and Ryan had cut their hair short since I had seen them 2 years earlier. The next week they played a show in Long Branch NJ at a hole in the wall called "Hooligans" that was so small there wasn't even a backstage - just a door that led to the parking lot. After their set my friend and I were so hot from dancing we decided to get some air and we literally bumped right into the guys when we walked out the door. They were really nice- thanked us for dancing as we were the only people who were, and Dan even remembered us from the Woodstock show.
Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
They are THE friendliest band I have ever met! Everytime I see them live they just outdo themselves- there is no such thing as a disappointing show.
