This is one of my favorite songs on the cd. It's so incredibly brilliant. Over- flowing with beautiful lyrics and Jason's voice in amazing. I never get tired of listening to this song. The entire cd is an incredible piece of work. More people should be listening to Jason Mraz!!! |

The song Sleep all the Day was the only reason why I bought the artist' album but "Sleep all Day" is what I don't wanna do forever for the rest of my life since I first heard it last December on the radio.. and his voice was singing and shouting beautifully to my ears "GO MAKE A MOUNTAIN OUT OF IT!" many many times!! BUT last summer, I can't fight the warm breeze so that's what occassionally made me sleep...(it's just afternoon naps but it's long, i hate it) Last summer, I also dreamed of him after finding out an info from a music channel saying that he only began playing guitar at the later age of 18. I was like, so what? it doesn't matter... the fact is I had just started to learn to play the instrument too at that moment and until now('cause I think I'm inspired by mr. mayer's music). What I dreamed (but this is only a part of it) was.. I was in a studio with mr. mraz and his two model hosts interviewing him. I was there sneaking bet. their conversations asking freely the two hosts, "Where's mr. mraz last October 14?" (that was my birthday actually) and the hosts said he was on Germany teaching.. Teaching, why? and they answered ..for extra Salarization. salarization eh? mraz and me laughed on the way they pronounced it.. and by the way this was the first time I know the real life answer on what happened last oct. 14(my birthday) is that it was the day before the release of his album.. there's still many happenings on the two of us follows but I cannot longer express those dreams and they were all very weird.. Anyways what I wanted to tell people who believes in this guy is that Go make your dreams come true whether you're just starting to build it right now or promise doing it later.. I will never ever sleep all day or just sleep to dream (I'm a person who dreams always and completely remembers them). The song's still tatooed on my heart and mind, that's what makes me keep my left fingers holding on frets and the other one strumming.. at least I'm ONE year earlier when starting to play it than the artist himself...hehe('',) |

Sleep all day is one remarkable song. Although I've heard a lot of versions by some Filipino artists here, I think no one else could do it better other than Jason Mraz himself. He's really got a soulful voice. And without any effort, he can make you want to listen without all the hype. Silly music videos and stuff... |

This is one of my favorite songs on the record. Mraz's voice is beautiful and the lyrics are worth taking a read over and will bring a smile to your face. |

Lawdy. This song just reached into my heart, grabbed it and shook it around for a while. Aside from the achingly lovely vocal quality Jason brings to this song...it's one of those "oh yeah. I've been there. Done that. In fact, doing it right now" kind of tunes. Then again, maybe some of you youngins haven't been there yet...but (insert evil laugh here) you will, my pretties, you will..... |
