This song. I'm a dancer, sort of;-) okay, I love to dance in my living room when nobody's watching, and this song gets me every time. the sultry undertones, the understated passion, the poetic heat of it all. Mraz is truly a masterful artist.

I can't stop listening to this. It has this this rainy-day bareness that is so rare. It is raw, lush poetry. I am in love it, I feel like I'm singing it when I hear it, even though I don't open my mouth...

Hey everyone.. I think these are the lyrics?

"This is the most unusual story
of a most unusual girl
She's the paint in my picture
of a most unusual world

She can crawl out a frame
while she's hanging on the wall
And she's calling my name
she's not so usual

She's most unusual
Shes not so usual
She's so unusual

She's mostly a ghost
the way she watches over me
She complains when I smoke
but then you do the same to me

She's controlling my brain activity
knowing when I go to sleep
She'll catch me when I'm falling hard
she's so unusual

She's not usual
She's not usual
She's so unusual

She's not so
hooked on the drugs like I thought she was
And never suckin' on the lime and hardly sippin' on the wine
And despite
of her bi-polar roller coastering
I think I can trust she'll keep me singing differently

And that's fine
'Cause she's with me now most all of the time

Trying and savin' the light
Thinking not of her own
And always kissing me goodnight
When I just need to be alone
She's so sweet
So discrete
-She's exactly what I need
Not even make believe...

she's not so usual...

She's so unusual
She's not so usual
So unusual

Oh, Not so usual
and not to practual either,

What's that, she's
not so mystical
but not to magical neither,

I said she's
not so out of control
and not so used to the full

she's not so usual

naw shes a natural

oh she's not so
usual

shes most usual

she's not so usual

shes so unusual

shes gonna use me up

shes not so you
shes not so you
not so you
not so"

Later!!  <3dani

This is a song pulling candy from my heart, soul and mind and placing it upon my tongue. I guess my personal pinata' had more candy now than it did before. So much music these days seems to lack the feeling of the artist, that feeling that a fan can absorb and take on his or her journey of life. Jason Mraz has brought back that connection back to music that I always long for. That part that can drop tears absent from sadness. Simply put they are just tears of purity's own.

I absolutely love this song, and it puts me in such a good mood. I could definitely listen to it on repeat.

"this is the most, unusual story, of a most unusual girl, she's the paint in my picture, of a most unusual world, she can crawl out a frame while she's hanging on the wall, and she's calling my name, she's most unusual..."
"she's mostly a ghost the way she watches over me, she complains when i smoke, then you do the same to me, she's controlling my brain activities knowing when i go to sleep, she'll catch me when i'm falling hard, she's not so usual"
"she's not hooked on the drugs like i thought she was, and never suckin on the lime, and hardly sippin on the whine, and despite all her bi-polar roller coastering, i think i can trust she'll keep me singing differently, and that's fine cause she's with me now, most all of the time, trying (not to sure), thinking not of her own, and always kissing me goodnight, when i just need to be alone, she's so sweet, so descreet, she's exactly what i need not even make believe... she's not so usual..."
"not so usual, not to practual either, i said she's not so mystical, not to magical neither, i said she's, not so out of control and not so, used to the cold she's not so, usual, oh she's not so, ooo she's not so, usual, oh no, she's not so usual..."

this might not be exactly accurate, but this is what i was able to pull from my head right now... i don't have the CD with me, so i can't listen to it to confirm, but i believe most of the lyrics i wrote are right... hope this is at all helpful to you...
