I am a female with Blonde hair and Blue eyes.

My Jewel Story:
God, i can't remember, ithink i was in the music store and my cousin said come over here and listen to this.... i went over and was like awesome! And ever since it was an addiction. That was about 5 or 6 years ago when Pieces Of You was just new. I guess there were many factors.... i was watching the grammys or something one year and Jewel was up againt Joan Osborne, she won and my step dad told me she would too. I was glad she won.. i loved the song but i knew very little about Jewel at that time. One time i was driving in my dad's truck and the #1 song came on .. this was when i started to realize i really really liked Jewel... the #1 was jewel and although i had only heard the song twice befor i knew all the words and was glad to belt them out for everyone! Another time the teacher was going to play a song for us in english and we had to decide what the song was about... he made a mistake and the song played for about 2 seconds and then he shut it off ... i automatically knew it was jewel and i was surprised at the automatic recognition. The most vivid memory is when i first became friends with my now best friend Heather... we were walking down the road and someone had You Were Ment For Me blarring out their window, we both started to sing as we walked down the road.... it was the first time we had ever hung out.. this was in 9th grade, and Hether and i have been best friends ever since. That was almost 4 years ago. The reason why I didn't bye the CD earlier was becuase i had this rule that i would not waste money on CD's becuase songs got old and CD's got thrown in the corner and never listened to again. I decided that i would never get sick of Jewel so i bought the cd after hearing I"m Sensitive.... probably about 2 years ago. Those cd's are now my life line, i listen to them when i am upset or hopeful. Jewel has help me change my life in ways that i could never repay... i just wish everyone could get what i get our of her inspriation.
