My Jewel Story:
It was my best friend, she was watching t.v. one day, when the video who will save your soul came on. My friend had turned me on to the music by telling me i looked just like jewel. I didn't belive her but took it as a complament because of her beauty. After when jewel became bigger, i began to hear it even more often from people i didn't even know. That's when i bought her C.D. i had never heard such a beautiful voice and lyrics. And know i would have to say she is my favorite artist.

I just wanted to add another thing. She has inspiered me to start my own solo music caree
i was in aband before singing mostly singing grunge, I always knew that that type of song and lyrics didn't go with my voice. When the band wasn't working i dropped it and began writing my own songs. And know my music has more of soul feel. and i have performed alot more since i have gone solo.
