My Jewel Story:
I was driving a van in Amarillo, Texas while travelling with a women's basketball team in March of 1995. This amazing song came on the radio (WWSYS), and I was absolutely mesmerized.
As soon as I got back to my hotel room, I called the radio station to find out that it was Jewel. After a couple of fruitless searches, I finally located the CD at a Wherehouse. It ranks as one of my all-time favorite CD's, and still is played quite often.
Comments:
I still have yet to see Jewel live, although I've had several chances. I have vowed to see her the next time she is within 300 miles. Hopefully soon.
