My Jewel Story:
i had heard of Jewel previously from radio stations but it wasn't until i moved to Japan that i became a Jewel fan. My friend, Steve Coute, and i were driving to Yokosuka one day. We listened to one of his tapes and he introduced the "Morning Song" to me and i instantly fell in love with the song! That was back in 1996. The following year (October 7, 1997 to be exact) Steve took me to see Jewel sing at the LaForet Museum in Harajuku, Japan. It was purely an awesome moment! =) Till this day, "Morning Song" is my favorite Jewel song (along with "V-12 Cadillac", "Near You Always", and "Foolish Games", and...)
