Distance: is space
True closeness can defy

A breath can be inhaled
of the same air,
because the lungs live
for the same purpose.

Love
is dimensionless
because it exists beyond all known realities.

To be touched,
most intensely
happens without the existence of flesh
but as a message from
heart   beat   to   heart   beat.

Shared secrets between
two
when the souls speak the same
one
language.

Light Beams

Light beams
from the sun
can cut through
the leaves of trees
and caress
the ground
and the heart
of this very earth,
in ways
we could never imagine

Spinning Stationary

Inner tranquility
Peace with myself
I crave you.

I have a fighting spirit
Within me
Wanting so much
To reach the stars
And vibrate with love
But I am spinning
Stationary.

Quiver Flesh,
For a desire
Much stronger
Than you
Lives inside

It hungers
And makes you
shiver and tremble
because you can
hardly contain it.
