My One Jewel
Heaven descended and hell went away The sun was dazzling and the clouds few My heart mended: perfection was for a day Rivers run and sing, flowing with joy a lifetime overdue. Her lips were feathers of flesh, her skin was milk Our bodies were freezong our hands in eachother fold Her hair was fire and her face was silk The grass was tingling and the earth was cold. My friends were angels my wings newly found Day didn't hate night and I didn't hate me Smiles the only sight, laughter the only sound The paradise I'm wrapped in shows me what I can be. We drank the sun, fluttering of wings a distant memory A light made me translucent and evaporated regret Each breath was exstacy, everyone was free For one night the whole world was immaculate.
