I heard this song for the first time last weekend as myself and 10 other friends loaded our boats for a 5 day river trip down Desolation Canyon on the Green river in Utah.  You can imagine how much I came to love this song as 11 drunk red-necks and tree-huggers sang the chorus together over and over again for four days.  There are not too many songs around that could bring totally different types of people together.  I love it!

I forced my mother to listen to abulum all day long before making her go to Glen's show in SLC with me...and this was the song that stuck with her....go figure....a great sing along song!!!!  Sad and funny at the same time!

Just thought I'd add... it is a true story but it didn't happen to Glen.  It happened to Ben Folds, and on a sad note, the dog did get shot :(

Leave it to Glen to turn the story around though!

This song is so funny.  I still get a kick out of it when i listen to it.  This song is also strong and honest as what writer produces work with the phrase "jack off".  I think that statement shows how Glen puts his most personal experiences out for his fans to listen, think about, and of course have fun listening to.

This song is one you listen to over and over again.  The vocals are great and the words written for this song are really funny and humble.

Any song that is about a drive by shooting of a dog has got to be a great song, and to this most popular rule we have to conclude that the people's favorite two songs on the album will be this one and Fred Meyers.

This song shows us a comical view of Glen and his father, however after the laughter stos you are gonna think that is fucked up.

This song is fun, has catchy music, and shows us the humorous side of Glenn, which didn't seem to shine through during his toad days.  turn it on, and hit repeat
