I think it is great to see an artist, especially a male artist (no offense to men or anything) take an active part in the fight for women's rights. This song illustrates the lives of many women who are forced to raise children on their own because the fathers just got up and left. Because of this and other songs that Glen has performed both with toad and as a solo artist, I truly respect Glen Phillips not only as a musical artist, but as a fellow human being. |

This song had a nice upbeat temple, and of course offbeat lyrics. This is a cool song, but when i first got the cd this song got stuck in my head for about 3 days. so i didn;t listen to that song again for like a month. This song is about how some men who love kerouac and want to act like him with free love, and no responsibility. They leave the girls when they get pregnant with out taking resoponsibility. It is so pathetic for a person to run from their problems, and never have anything to do with their children. While I want to be Kerouac i would take certain percaution |
