I think this song is just awesome.I am dumbfounded as to why it was not released as a single. It certainly would help "abulum" sales in my opinion.Everybody i have turned on to it loves it.I cant get any radio station to play it however.I heard glen say it was the most toad like song on the album.Maybe that is what holds it back.Although i dont understand why it would.I believe this song is a testament to the evilness of domestic violence. How it can hold a person back, how "you get everthing backwards learning how to survive". |

I basically approached Albulum with nervousness, fearing the experimental side of Toad as represented by Glen. Songs like this one quiet those fears instantly. This has "instant hit" written all over it. Just the sledgehammer chorus refrain and backround chords are worth the price of album purchase alone. While not as manic as, say, "Whatever I Fear", the song just grabs you in like "Fly From Heaven" did..the same song dynamics are here. And as always the lyrics are so great. |
