This is how I got into Evanescence:
One of my best friends was in a 'lets get as many cds we can and see who we like' faze, and Evanescance turned out to be one of the best ones we found.

Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
I definately recomend Jake Coco, Secondhand Serenade, Damien Rice, and Sugarcult (if you can find the acoustic versions of their songs that is..)
