This is how I got into Evanescence:
umm...i heard "bring me to life" and i fell in love with amy lee's vocals. i immediately went out and bought the fallen record and listened to it non-stop for 6 months. i became a devoted evanescence fan and amy lee became my one and only idol.

Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
evanescence has saved my life. i almost killed myself halloween of last year and all i did was play the open door record and i felt inspired and i felt hope that i didn't need to take my life. amy lee's vocals and lyrics really touched me and i just love the band all together.
