This is how I got into Evanescence:
first,i heard the song 'bring me to life' on tv.i bought the album fallen.when i listened to the other songs and heard those lyrics i couldn't get myself from listening to them all the time!!!
Additionally, I'd like to mention to other fans:
yeah,here i don't have anyone to talk to on evanescence and i'm really dying to meet other fans all over the world.
