Well, what can I say...This is one hell of a song! I enjoy listening to this song in the darkest hours, in happy times, well you get the picture. I think Evanescence is one of the best bands ever. My friends, on the other hand, thinks that Evanescence are stupid, that they're not even rock. And that it's something I just don't agree with, cause they've probably not heard this song...Evanescence Rock On! I love you no matter what they say! =) =) =)

The lyrics to this song really got to me because just recently I lost my boyfriend of 10 months. When I heard this song I really could relate to it, and it touched me more than anything. My immortal also helped me through it a lot, and pretty much all I have been listening to since he passed away is Evanescence, because it makes me feel so much better about losing the person I love more than anything else in the world -R.I.P Adam Rastin:( I Love You!!

This song is so hauntingly beautiful. She loves him(or her, if I had my way!) so much that even death can't stop them from being together. I wish someone loved me enough to dig up my rotting corpse...

hi all,
even in death is my big favorite ...i have listened to their 'fallen' and have seen 3-4 live shows of theirs on video...

I had first heard even in death when i had  seen them perform even in death in a live vid at rock am ring 2003

..the first thing i liked was the tone of the song throughout..it was a song/ballad to be liked by everyone
...second i started liking the fantastic balladic tone that comes 3-4 times in the song when she sings "and i cant love u anymore than ..".. it blew me to bits..

...then i realized how well the singer had sung the whole song..the vocals very awesome....

..then after i realized that the song had a great "solo" in it too!....and the guitars wer great too

.....and only after that i realized that its lyrics were so delicately composed...(i havent yet seen the lyrics completely ..but partly)..and i found that the lyrics were just for any dumb rhyming..but were complete in themselves...

.....and the live vid of rock am ring was even cooler..u cud see how stylishly the band performed the whole song, never making it look that they were giving much importance to the song being one of their big things...

but from my side i think that it is one of their very good songs and they are just trying not to "sell out" the song by making it too popular and by patronizing it...

....nevertheless..popular or not...i think
anyone who listens to it..will definitely love it..atleast after a couple of listens..

..i just cant get enuff of the song...and it has somehow been my firm favorite...right from when i first heard it months back!..

....i love hard rock, metal,goth.. etc....and i do find evanescence quite a universal sound....

..i do hope that anyone who loves music ..hard or soft...will like this song and will be amazed by it..as much as i am...

...ok...rock on evanescence lovers..

It was the last winter I first heard this song "Even In Death".
I came to feel like playing the one in my room every day as soon as I finished listening to it but I knew it was impossible to order the album 'Origin' from USA because the CD had already been out of print that's why I had to search for "Even In Death" anywhere later and download it instead.
One rainy night, "Even In Death" reminded me of my ex-girlfriend whom I'd broken up a few years ago.
I just dreamed of the day when she would come back to me and cried for a long time.
Well, everything is ok and I fortunately have a new gf who understands me better than anyone now.
Anyway, I couldn't have overcome the hardship but for this tune.
Thank you Evanescence!!

This is my favorite Evanescence song! It's so beautiful, haunting, yet it still has that rock edge that I love so much.

Hey guy's, Im looking for anyone who is willing to share their evanescence cd's with me, If you happen to have the older stuff. (And when I say share, I mean as in burn them for me.) Please, someone Im going to die if I do not get ahold of them. Now to this song review, I was burning older evanescence songs, to see what they were like, and came across "even in death". I love the tune, and the lyrics, and amy's amazingly gorgeous voice. Upon my listening to this song, I came across the ending, where she lowly, but lovingly say's, "I'll die, but real love is forever", I think that phrase is the most assuringly and lovingly thing Ive ever heard. I absolutely admire Evanescence. Not just amy, either. The band as a "Whole". Does anyone happen to know when their next album is going to come out? Ive been anticipating since amy said it was going to be, "Darker, and more deeper, then that we've put on fallen". SO email me (Evanesancefan04@aol.com) and let me know, if you happen to know. Thanks, for listening to my ongoing obsession with evanescence.
